Dermal Fillers

What are Non-Permanent Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are used worldwide to soften facial lines that may have appeared through the natural ageing process, lifestyle and environmental factors.

As we age, we naturally lose volume and elasticity on different areas of the face.

Dermal fillers can also be used to restore volume and lift, improving the appearance of lines caused by ageing. This gives the skin a healthier and youthful appearance while retaining the natural look and feel.

Why choose Non-Permanent Dermal Fillers?

This type of treatment is rapidly becoming more popular; this non-surgical option is much less painful, quicker and has fewer side-effects than other surgical options.

Which Dermal Fillers will be used?

Gemma has carefully selected the leading and well established dermal fillers for her patients who are recognised for their reliance, safety profile and results throughout the world.  These include Juvederm, Boletero and Teosyal.

Are non-permanent Dermal Fillers safe?

Non-Permant Dermal Fillers are now recognised and used extensively with millions of treatments performed every year worldwide.

Compared to other cosmetic treatments such as invasive surgery and permanent fillers, the risks are far fewer.

As with many procedures, there can be side-effects. These will always be explained thoroughly to the patient before any procedure or treatment takes place.

How long do the results last for?

The longevity of the results depends on a variety of factors including the area treated, lifestyle and genetic factors.  This will be thoroughly explained by Gemma during the consultation process.

Dermal Fillers can be expected to last anywhere between 6 and 18 months; this can depend on the treatment area, lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors.

Is the treatment painful?

Treatment pain is minimal.

Gemma prides herself on using only the best brands for her patients. These already have a local anaesthetic contained in the product which helps to numb the area being treated.

To supplement this for additional comfort, a numbing cream is often used.

Cost of Dermal Fillers

Prices start from £120 depending upon the area, type and amount of dermal filler that is required to achieve your desired results.

This will all be discussed on consultation.
